I was thinking about the fact that being a taxi driver (include Uber or Lyft) in a high population city like New York or Los Angeles must be a terrifying job to have currently.
I’m sure it’s fine if you aren’t the type who is being super cautious during this pandemic. I do venture out of the house and two days a week need to be at a physical brick & mortar shop and interact with customers but I try to be as careful as I can be when I’m outside.
To be stuck in a small enclosed space and having multiple people a day come in and out of that space is just not something I would be comfortable doing. There are those though whose entire livelihood require them to be in that position.
I’m not sure what your situation is but I hope it is one that you are comfortable with. If it is, try to be mindful and empathetic to those who aren’t as fortunate.
