Start / Stop

So I’m currently working on developing a new idea while simultaneously keeping all my other ideas afloat. I tend to do this a lot. I like to have many irons in the fire but unfortunately the one thing I fail to do is keep the fire stoked. Therefore everything just seems to linger and loiter and never really move forward.

As I begin working on this new endeavor, which I don’t think will launch until 2020, I’m reassessing how I work when it comes to my own personal projects. I love branding and marketing each one of the individually but currently I have seven brands going. Seven is a lot. It would be good if I could devote one day a week to each but I know that’s not realistic for me.

So I’m trying to come up with a four day schedule where I can focus my energy into different areas of these creative outlets. In there totality the comprise of writing, music, photography, videography and painting. But with that comes a lot of editing and scheduling and strategy. While I do love project management I feel like all of this would need a dedicated project manager. That was always a bit of the problem I had when I was doing my podcast years ago – too many details for one person.

So the start of this whole “project” is to get back to quick writing here. No long elaborate essays. Just concise-ish stream of consciousness writing covering anything that I happen to be thinking about at that moment.

It may not be the most captivating but hopefully it will be the catalyst to all the other captivating projects in the works.
